The study work in these courses is available any time of year. However, these specific courses purchased as a consecutive 10 week course are available Fall through Spring at your choice of start and end date, if there is class space.  Summer has a different and more flexible attendance policy. 

 

They include 10 weekly classes, signing up for your selected day and time during the 10 weeks.  If you miss 1 or 2 of the 10 classes, you may make up a class during another time during the 10 week span, or during the next 10 week span if you continue on with another course package.

 

These are available either in person, over Zoom or a hybrid of your choosing of each.

 

Students who purchase these Courses as a package do not pay any registration fees.  There is however a monetary savings of paying an annual fee and taking weekly classes, ongoing, utilizing our monthly auto pay and giving us a 1 month notice of discontinuance.

Beginning Oil Painting: (From the Ground Up covering everything from Oil Paint chemistry, Paint mixing, color theory and paint charting, how to start a painting and the stages throughout and finishing.  Students feel much more confident in oils after this course and have begin on their oil painting journey with a solid foundation.)  

 

Painting From Life Course 1 - Beginning with Still Life
Painting From Life Course 2 - Figures (If you take in the spring overlapping into May, we will have live models, but it can be taken anytime of year by painting from photo reference as if from life)
Painting From Life Course 3 -Portraiture  (If you take in the spring overlapping into May, we will have live models, but it can be taken anytime of year by painting from photo reference as if from life)
